Update: 1. Professor Chris Dede from Harvard University has kicked off our masterclasses. He shared the topic of “Doing Better Things” in education AI Agents. 2. Madam Soh Kah Lay from Singapore Minister of education has shared her view on Desiree AI agents for primary school students. She was headmaster of different Singapore primary schools. 3. We will have Professor Sharon Calor and Professor Aneesh Zutish from Europe countries to share more on April 16th and April 23rd sepo. Both time is 9pm SGT and 3 PM CEST. About HackaStone Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly entering every aspect of our life and education, in particular, is undergoing profound changes. To respond this global challenge, we are organising HackaStone, a competition which is designed for tertiary students from any universities in the world to develop their cutting-edge AI capability through project-based learning. Different to conventional hackathons (typically 24 hours duration), HackaStone is based on the idea of credit-bearing semester-long Capstone projects which are widely used in many universities cross the planets. The theme of the HackaStone this year is “Agentic AI for Education”. We believe HackaStone may generate many AI agents useful for K-12 education, higher education, special needs education, vocational training, and lifelong learning. Originated in Singapore, HackaStone 2026 is the inaugural competition hosted by the Association of Global AI Technomics Education and Exchange (GATEE). At this moment, there are about 20 universities from Europe, Asia, Africa and America interested to participate in this competition.
